About Us

The Zoroastrian Association of North Texas (ZANT) was established in 1989 to nurture, advance, and promote the religious, social and cultural aspects of Zoroastrian faith. Since its inception, ZANT has endeavored to serve Zoroastrian families in the Dallas/Fortworth metroplex and surrounding areas by providing guidance and leadership to foster the overall well being of our community. Over the years our Zoroastrian community in the North Texas area has experienced much growth. We are maturing as a community, developing deeper roots, and building stronger ties in North Texas. We have new Zoroastrian families moving into our area on a regular basis and we also have families that have lived here for over three decades. This provides richness of diversity as well as a good balance and stability to our community.

We have ongoing, regularly organized religious social and cultural activities. We are fortunate to have three mobeds in our midst who serve our community tirelessly and with great reverence. Our community also strongly supports the creation of a ZANT center. We have active building and fund raising committees that have been working diligently over the past several years to achieve this goal. The creation of a ZANT center will continue to receive high priority until it comes to fruition.

ZANT is committed to promoting friendship and goodwill within the Zoroastrian community, not only in the North Texas area but also with our larger Zoroastrian community in North America and countries around the world. We are happy to welcome new Zoroastrian families to our area, and are excited about the added dimension they bring to our community.

We are grateful to all prior boards, volunteers and well-wishers for their contributions, accomplishments, and hard work. We will work to build on the progress and success that has been achieved in the ZANT community. ZANT is our community’s organization, and the more involvement we have from our community members the more effective we can become. We are enthusiastically looking forward to working with everyone during the coming years.
